Zendaya is pregnant with Tom Holland’s baby, you’ve probably been ‘Krissed’

After a fan-created TikTok suggested that the "Spider-Man: No Way Home" stars were expecting, Zendaya has regretfully but quickly put an end to the idea that she's pregnant with boyfriend Tom Holland's baby.

And a lot of people were taken in by it.

"Now you see why I don't use Twitter... "Just making something up for no reason...weekly," the star of "Euphoria" posted on Instagram Stories on Wednesday. "Anyway, let's get back to filming [tennis drama] Challengers," says the actor.

The viral video to which the Gen Z favourite was referencing contained an ultrasound that had been altered to make it appear as if Zendaya had shared the scan as a pregnancy announcement on Instagram. "I adore you," the caption on the fake post read. "I'm halfway there," he said, tagging Holland. The TikTok video then turns to a heavily memed video of Kris Jenner of "The Kardashians" dancing to "Lady Marmalade," stating that "you just got Krissed!"

The "Krissed" or "Krissing" hoax is designed to persuade viewers to believe a false story. And it worked — well enough that Zendaya's name began to trend on TikTok and Twitter, prompting the "Dune" actress to pay heed to the story.

Holland told People last year that he "can't wait to be a dad," adding fuel to the TikTok rumour fire.

Zendaya, 25, and Holland, 26, have been romantically connected for years, since since they costarred in 2017's "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and jokingly mocked the relationship claims on Twitter.

When photographers photographed them kissing in a car in July 2021, Page Six verified their relationship. Since then, they've talked more about their relationship in interviews and on social media, generally to wish each other a happy birthday in beautiful Instagram messages.

Zendaya shared a loving selfie with Holland on June 1 and said, "Happiest of birthdays to the one that makes me the happiest 3."

Holland came to the HBO set when she was filming particularly difficult parts in "Euphoria," the influential actor told "Entertainment Tonight" earlier this year, saying: "I think it's great to have that support and love around you, because you need it."
