Tom Hanks Addresses If He'll Join the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Numerous prominent actors are needed to fill dozens of parts in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the Multiverse Saga continues. And while a number of up-and-coming stars have put their names forward for some of these highly sought-after roles, some of the industry's most recognisable actors, including Oscar winner Tom Hanks, have also talked about the possibility of joining the franchise.

Hanks admitted about a year ago that he hadn't received a call from Marvel to join the massive franchise, which has nearly two dozen live-action entries scheduled between now and the end of 2025. Hanks made the admission on actor Will Arnett's podcast.

At this moment, it's unknown what kind of position he would play in the MCU, especially given the possibility of either a long-term commitment or something that just lasts for one or two films.

However, based on these statements, Hanks seems willing to take on this new task, especially because he only has a few projects scheduled for the near future. And although if Hanks hasn't gotten the call for an MCU part yet, the possibility still exists for the two sides to make it happen.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, which is still airing on Disney+ as of Thursday, September 8, will continue the MCU.
